How it works

This service uses a calorie deficit diet programme to achieve weight loss, supported by lifestyle change. It provides nutritional advice that focuses on obtaining a healthy nutritional balance. It provides support with portion control, eating habits, meal preparation, food shopping and increasing energy expenditure through daily tasks.

Who it’s for

Individuals that are in the BMI category range of obese and overweight that are physically inactive.

If you are currently overweight or obese, you may be able to lose just a small amount of weight to improve your overall health.  In fact, some studies show that just a 5% to 10% decrease in your weight can change your health.   Benefits include:

  • Lowered blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels.
  • Improved mobility, decreased joint pain, back pain and decreased risk or improvement in symptoms of osteoarthritis.

How it helps

Your diet will be analysed with the latest software nutritional programme, to identify dietary imbalance and full micro-nutrient status. Macro-nutrient (protein, fat, carbohydrate) levels and vitamin and mineral deficiencies can then be corrected by modifying your diet to improve your health and well-being. Meal plans are provided to help you reach full nutritional balance.

We’ll then work on stabilising your metabolism (which may have become unstable from yo-yo dieting), this is key to controlling your weight fluctuations long-term.
